How do I change my email address and/or password?

To change your email address and/or password, please take the following steps:
1. Log in with your current email address and password.

Note: If you cannot log in because your password has expired or because you can't remember it, please refer to the following instructions: I forgot my password. What do I do?

2. Click on your name in the upper-right corner of the screen.

3. Select ‘Account settings’ from the drop-down menu.

4. Click on ‘Change email’ or ‘Change password’ depending on what you would like to change.

5. For ‘Change password’, continue to enter your current password and choose a new one. Make sure to click ‘Save’ after your changes.

6. After clicking on ‘Change email’, the following will appear:

Please note: If you use the Family Tree Builder software, you must change your login details in the program in addition to changing them on your account as shown above.
